I was gutted when DIC pulled out, however I feel fairly optimistic about where our new owners are taking the club.

IMHO I would have preferred DIC due to their massive financial clout, but credit to these guys they wanted really the club and made the decisive efforts to get it. They have my support.

You couldn't of imagined a PC from DIC like that one.

Been said they sounded nice people, and want the same as the fans, and seem to have values

DIC and comments re selling and it being an investment, then they do a runner.

It's easy to think the worst of these two because of Glazer etc, but from that press conference they seem like nice fellas who know what they're talking about and won't stand for no ****.

Im really excited although a little sad that we've reached the end of a chapter. Although the club wasn't moving along as we wanted, I still feel a tinge of sadness for the previous regime, no matter what anyone says. I firmly believe they did EVERYTHING they could for the club.

Having said that, I'm glad that it's all been sorted now, and am very optimistic that the new regieme will be able to move us forward and put us where we want to be.

I think Gillet and Hicks are much better than Glazer and that Abramovič ****... However, I do hope they realise everything they've promised!

And they seem quite okay to me (from what I've seen at the press confrence). They aren't as dull as Abramovič and can crack a joke or two, so... We'll see. I certainly hope this is a step forward for the club!
