I said from the very start the new stadium should be called Stanley Park tho I wouldn't mind if it was called Coca Cola Stadium if it meant we raised money to spend on players
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
The current stadium is Anfield, I think it would detract from the history and the magic of the place to give the new stadium the same name.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
I know a fair few Citeh Supporters Most of them say that 'i'm off to watch citeh tonight etc, as saying the City of Manchester Stadium is a bit long winded. Citeh fans have been trying since 2002 to get a proper football name for the stadium without any luck. Some call it The COMS or Eastlands but it still lacks the passion in a fans voice when you can say I'm off to Anfield, Maine Road and the most famous I'm off to Wembley. Wembley is a prime example IMO it just won't be the same if they named it 'Multiplex National Stadium'
Ahh, but Wembley is being built on the site of the old stadium, and is already referred to as 'The New Wembley'...national stadiums also don't seem as susceptible to the corporate naming as club ones, probably because they can make ****loads selling boxes and also aren't as desperate for that extra income I guess. Having said that I don't know if it will definitely be called Wembley still?
