Sell the name, i'll still call it Anfield.

If we can get decent money off a decent named company then go for it.
I know its little, but thats David Banner. Just wait untill you see the Incredible Hulk

You should rather call George. He wants to talk to the supporters.

I said from the very start the new stadium should be called Stanley Park tho I wouldn't mind if it was called Coca Cola Stadium if it meant we raised money to spend on players

I think the name doesnt matter to the fans, they will call it something from the start and thats what they will stick to.

I also think that ground sponsorship over the years may decrease because of this.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

It all depends. If we could bag 100 mill on selling the name for a period, then by all means! If not then Anfield will do nicely.

I voted for New Anfield. I mean... Whatever the stadium will be called, the Liverpool fans will always reffer it as Anfield methinks...

it won't be Anfield as we know and love so it shouldnt be called Anfield IMO.Shankly stadium or sell the name.

I know a fair few Citeh Supporters Most of them say that 'i'm off to watch citeh tonight etc, as saying the City of Manchester Stadium is a bit long winded. Citeh fans have been trying since 2002 to get a proper football name for the stadium without any luck. Some call it The COMS or Eastlands but it still lacks the passion in a fans voice when you can say I'm off to Anfield, Maine Road and the most famous I'm off to Wembley. Wembley is a prime example IMO it just won't be the same if they named it 'Multiplex National Stadium'
Ahh, but Wembley is being built on the site of the old stadium, and is already referred to as 'The New Wembley'...national stadiums also don't seem as susceptible to the corporate naming as club ones, probably because they can make ****loads selling boxes and also aren't as desperate for that extra income I guess. Having said that I don't know if it will definitely be called Wembley still?

I've been talking about this with some mates :

What would people prefer - a huge increase across the board on ticket prices, or stadium sponsorship?

The answer, surely, is stadium sponsorship.

(Although, I suspect prices will increase)
