I hope there won't be loads of changes in the summer. You can't bring 7 or 8 new faces in & expect them to all gel into a title challenging side. If we do by the time Rafa sorts his best 11 out, Man U & Chelsea will have ridden off into the sunset again. What we need is 3 or 4 really good players to supplement the squad we have. We all know what we need, a striker, one or 2 wide players & a left back. On top of that I expect the usual 4 or 5 young players for the future.

I think Harry will stay. Look how many times Rafa has put him straight into the side from injury for big matches. Rafa clearly rates him and looking at our performace last year, its clear that moving Stevie to the right and Harry coming back were the two turning points last season. If Harry comes back this season fit, he will be here next season, bc he only has a year left on his deal. He will be worth more in the sqaud then we can get for him on the transfer market. In the end, Harry really needs a preseason under Rafa (correct me if I'm wrong, but he's never had one) and if he gets that, I believe he will be one of our most important players. Just think if we were able to add another versatile attacking midfielder (like Ribery maybe in a swap?) that can play anywhere across the front. We could line up Kewell, Gerrard and Ribery in front of two defensive holding midfielders and allow that lot to roam and change positions and just generally make trouble. I'd like to see something like:

Carra Woodgate Agger
Momo Alonso
Ribery Gerrard Kewell
Kuyt Bellamy

Also I think Crouch will see the door either this summer or next. Its not because Rafa doesnt rate him or bc he's not good enough. I think when it comes down to it, he and Kuyt are too similiar and Rafa will have to get more than one striker in with pace to play with Kuyt. I think Crouch was just a stop gap until Rafa was able to get Kuyt or someone of his quality.

That level of upheaval? I seriously doubt it.

I doubt that Carson want to stay and act as a backup to Reina. He will probably move to a club that he will be first choice.

I can't see Hyypia staying another season, he is already very slow.

We need a better left back than Riise and I think Rafa knows that. He has already signed Insua and Aurelio is getting more and more playing time.

It will probably be up to Pennant if he want to stay and act as a backup to a new and better right winger.

I can't see that Fowler will get a new deal.

Crouch is good but he is also very limited. Someone like Klose is better at the things Crouch is good at and is a better goalscorer. I can't see him stay if Rafa signs new strikers.

Bellamy is also very limited. He is fast and works his socks off but he can't play against a team that plays very deep. That also makes him very limited. There is a huge difference between Bellamy and Villa. Villa is a great goalscorer, Bellamy isn't. He may stay if Rafa only signs one new striker.

Zenden isn't good enough and I doubt that Rafa will keep him.

Pongolle, Le Tallec and Cisse is already out of the team. I doubt that Pongolle want to be third or fourth choice. Everyone knows what Rafa thinks about Le Tallec and Pongolle.

It's just my opinions of course.
