My guess is that this must be a backup deal if we can't find anything better. If the deal is done then it really is a joke.
We should be able to get £15m/year and not £7m. We are one of the biggest sports clubs in the World.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

What about the Middle East market? Or how about the millions of Muslims in other countries around the world?Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostDoes it really? are we referring to asian countries here? If so its bollocks, they all buy fake stuff. No person in Mayalsia or China etc is going to pay £40 for a real one when they make them for 5p.
Manure are doing it and Madrid are doing it!
But hey, **** that, they are all cheapskate fans who will buy fake tops so **** those parts of the World. Great business attitude.

It does seem to typify LFC's small, cap in hand, commercial thinking to-date. But I will vomit copiously if I ever see Coca-Cola on an LFC shirt.Originally posted by kurtangle01 View PostSony or Coca-Cola or something like that would have been good but Carlsberg is good. The sponsor fits the strip nicely. Imagine we had something like what's on the front of the filth strip? Now that would be bad!

I don't give a **** about the middle east. I'd rather sell shirts in America. I don't want to see a group of men with rocket launchers standing over a fallen acapache helicopter wearing liverpool shirts grinning smugly.Originally posted by looprevil View PostWhat about the Middle East market? I'm just using Coke as an example of a big name sponsor. Carlsberg is fine by me though.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

We're on the verge of a new sponsorship deal which is worth double the previous amount - and some people are moaning!! We're not going to be relying on the money to fund our transfer kitty so it isn't that big a deal. My only problem is that, as shaggy said, it does limit our marketing potential, especially in certain muslim regions where alcohol is frowned upon. I'm all for a new sponsor, simply for the sake of change, but the money isn't really that important enough to bring people down.

Your blinded by your love or CarlsbergOriginally posted by King Kenny 07 View PostI'm delighted so you can all **** off!! :bird:
As a Carlsberg drinker and staunch Liverpool fan nothing can make me happier then the marriage of my two favorite things together!!
Plus the deal (money wise) seems ok to me.
