Making sure we're able to expand is only prudent. The Scum were flukey in that the site at OT has allowed them to expand their capacity over and over again without need to consider moving.
Maybe you guys think the 473 threads on this subject on this site and KT over the least five years have all been a wind-up? As one of our new owners' powerful friends might say, "read my lips. There is NO WAY the new stadium capacity could be increased or the fundamental design changed without re-applying for planning permission and that would take another five years..."
Your wasting yer time fella, you should pm your info to johnny h and get him to post it............some might take abit of notice then

Or maybe I should take advance deposits on my book "Anfield Underground" and charge £30 a year for insider information on what type of flock wallpaper will be in the boardroom?
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

its absolutely stupid if the new stadium dosent have room for expansion, you never know whats going to happen in the future, what are we gonna do if need more capacity build yet another stadium!
As others have mentioned before, the capacity will be 60,000 because that is set as part of planning application.
The design will not allow for further expansion. Why would it?
If you are going to build a brand new 80,000 seat stadium, why would you ever build it at 60,000, then expand at a later date. It is far more economical to build at the higher capacity in the first place. The only reason United have done so is because they have an existing ground that was built a hundred years ago. The stadium has evolved over that period time, and it continues to do so.
The one question I have is with regard to these bunker suite things. I was under the impression that there would be a car park under the stadium.
