I'm a big fan of Alves but he's having a poor game tonight. Gave away a penalty although it was an outrageous dive by the Betis lad.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Daniel Alves dives 2/3 times a half. I cannot stand the ****er. He's decent (decent - Not a world beater), but also i'm very unsure how he'd adjust to England.
FLMAO @ C Ronaldo having dived 2/3 times max this season

I want to smoke the **** you've got going.

Garcia had a tendency to be a bit of a diver but he's curbed it since he joined us. I'm sure we'd see the same with Alves, and I think we would've seen the same with Ronaldo had he been playing for us.

I think Ronaldo has dived a few times more than 2/3 this season. As for Alves I can't comment on his diving tonight because I haven't watched the match tonight but he's never struck me as a diver.

I think it's inevitable tha players dive, most players do it.

For what it's worth though I to think that Alves will take quite a bit to settle in this country but that's not to say he wont.

He would definitely be an improvement on what we have at the moment when he's playing to his full potential. That's if we do sign him.

Name the dives?! Tell us all what you ate 21 Thursdays ago?! Every game I see him play, he dives. Sometimes it's made a big deal of, other times it's not. It is regular though, as it is with quite a few players. I don't have a list of his dives, but I can assure you it is more than 2/3 over the course of the whole season!

I would say that Ronaldo dives at least 5-10 times every game. He is the biggest cheater in the PL IMO.

You can't just count the times he got a penalty when has dived.

Alves dives a lot but so do more or less every player in La Liga. It's up to the refs and what they allows on the pitch. If the refs allows more then it won't be as much cheating as it's now in Spain.

They use the ref but that happens in every league.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

They'd probably have to build a whole new stand to accomodate the increase in fans signing Alves would bring. Could definitely do with a new one on the near side anyway.

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                            * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs
