I'm a big fan of Alves but he's having a poor game tonight. Gave away a penalty although it was an outrageous dive by the Betis lad.

For what it's worth though I to think that Alves will take quite a bit to settle in this country but that's not to say he wont.

Name the dives?! Tell us all what you ate 21 Thursdays ago?! Every game I see him play, he dives. Sometimes it's made a big deal of, other times it's not. It is regular though, as it is with quite a few players. I would say that Ronaldo dives at least 5-10 times every game. He is the biggest cheater in the PL IMO.
You can't just count the times he got a penalty when has dived.
Alves dives a lot but so do more or less every player in La Liga. It's up to the refs and what they allows on the pitch. If the refs allows more then it won't be as much cheating as it's now in Spain.
They use the ref but that happens in every league.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
