That could have planning implications aswell mate.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

      * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Hmmm, seems like only you, me and 24 others have bothered. Hope no-one else thinks this is relevant

I would have thought that the steeper it is, the higher it goes, the less square meters it uses. That would leave more room for transport building and there for allow greater capacity.

What implications are you talking about?

Yes! The pitch should be closer to the stands! Like it is at Anfield...

If it goes higher then it creates more shade which then you need planning permission for.

Well, I've created my vision of the KOP at new Anfield with Paintbrusher

I'd be very, very satisfied if the New Anfield looked like this!

It could be because the new Kop looks pretty godd.

We all want a kop and we may well get one but the problem is we are not being kept informed what the plans are with it - there is a lot of speculation but I am not seeing any current hard facts!

I have passed the contents of this thread onto Gary Rowlands, the Director in charge of the stadium project at architects Atherden Fuller Leng and, after he stopped laughing, he promised to take your important views into consideration...
