There are plenty of Germans that wouldn't play for Bayern. Werder have also finished 2nd or 1st every year for the last 4 seasons and are top currently.Originally posted by Quinncy View PostIf he was so good Bayern would have swooped for him.

They are second, Schalke leads.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostThere are plenty of Germans that wouldn't play for Bayern. Werder have also finished 2nd or 1st every year for the last 4 seasons and are top currently.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Fair enough, but they have been top most of the season.Originally posted by AFII View PostThey are second, Schalke leads.
It does not change my point that not all good German players play for Bayern. If you don't support Bayern in Germany then you tend to hate them.
How have Hamburg ended up bottom!Last edited by Mattshark; 17-02-07, 02:10 PM.

AHA!
Villa admits Prem attraction
By Lewis Rutledge - Created on 19 Feb 2007
David Villa has admitted there are several Premiership clubs that appeal to him.
The Spanish striker was once again linked with a move away from Valencia in the January transfer window but nothing materialised, as the player insisted he was not considering leaving.
Much of the speculation in recent months has centred on Chelsea, and Villa is happy to confess his admiration for the reigning Premiership champions.
But he admits he is also drawn to Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.
"I am attracted to the strength of Chelsea and the pace and mobility of Arsenal, especially at home," Villa told The Times.
"Everybody loves Manchester United - they have played some of the best football in Europe for a long while, maintaining a good defensive discipline.
"Liverpool are like Valencia - a team full of heart, good at the back with a midfield of quality and built so it is very difficult to beat them."
Villa also believes the Premiership is home to some of the world's best players, including Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Cristiano Ronaldo.
He explained: "Because of the way football is played now, there are not many players like Cristiano Ronaldo in the world - brilliant in one-on-ones.
"Lampard has got lots of quality in his passing and covers lots of ground.
"He and Gerrard are two of the best midfielders in the world because they mix quality and physical presence."
Valencia are not expected to part with Villa for anything less than a gigantic sum, but Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid are reportedly leading the chase for his signature.
