Except Steve Finnan is to Irishmen what Vinny Jones is to Welshmen.

The key to all of this are the words:

"Just before their biggest game of the season..."

Before every big ****ing game we have there is some ****ing pile of ****e about us in the gutter press.

Benitez was seperated them? What because everyone else let them fight until 'teacher' turned up? Riise just lay there while a 'madman' smashed down his door and then hit him with a golf club. What next? An article on Riise, my life as a masochist!

Its littered with inconsistencies and smacks of typical gutter press journalism. And we, of all football fans should be the last ones to take the words of a journalists without considering facts.

Just because its in the NoTW, doesn't mean its true. I'll bet the article is littered with, allegedly's and an insider said - which means they know **** all and are exaggerating around the fringes to make it into a story.

Now lets get behind our team, before the biggest game of our season and forget all this nonsense until someone we trust, says "Yes, its true."

Or Michael Owen or John Barnes to England for that matter.

Yeah and moved to England when he was about 3 hours old. He's got a cracking Irish accent.

If you do not like it do not read the thread.
IF it is ****ing true. Do you always jump to conclusions on the back of what a tabloid journalist says? I pity you if you do...

Of course, if its true its a blemish on our club, but show me where this is nothing more than a bunch of **** stirring pre-Barca.

Debate is one thing, jumping to ill-informed conclusions based on lies and potential half facts is totally different.

Don't know if this is relevant at all, but Kuyt generally rooms with Finnan not Bellamy. Don't know if it was different for this trip but just thought i'd throw that out there.

Michael Owen was born in Chester, which, the last time I looked, was in England.

                      I'll give you Barnes though....

Like so many Irish Internationals in order to make it they had to move to England when they were young to ply their trade and most have developed English accents.:whatever:

Chester is closer to Wales than Limerick

He grew up in Chelmsford. Finnan must have been extraordinarily developed as a footballer if he decided to move to 'ply his trade' at aged 6 months
