    Man of the Match

I think Momo Sissoko deserved the Man of the Match
    for yesterdays game.

Momo was outstanding but no doubt Pennant was man of the match - a superb Anfield debut, he didn't stop running, tracked back and defended well, and was for long periods of the game our only outlet/threat. I knew he was pretty quick but not that quick. I was sitting on the 3rd row centenary stand(inline with penalty area kop end) so I was really close to the pitch/players. Up close you get to see just how quick pennants feet are. Also though Bellamy had good game considering he was upfront on his tod, worked hard and kept a lot of attacks alive, but my god do we need Kuyt or someone similar next to him.

Its now between Pennant and Momo. Momo was outstanding yesterday but Pennant showed how quality and entertaining player he is.

                Need more votes...come on guys!

Pennant MOM? Wtf? His passing left a lot to be desired IMO, I thought he should of been taken off personally. Momo made some crucial challenges, we looked more threatning when Crouch came on though. Not sure who is MOM tbh, no one really stood out for me.

Eh? Perhaps you were watching a different game mate. Pennant looked class. He offers trickery, his passing was good, his runs and crossing were top notch. Bellamy's goal was build up by Pennant's trickery wing play.

Crouch had three chances to score but fail to do so. Momo was outstanding.

Passing was good? I lost count how many times he passed straight to the opposition. His crossing was better though.

Crouch's chances were not clear cut chances, he did well enough to get any thing on them.

Seriously mate, watch the game again and i can assure you that Pennant's misplaced pass was not more than two.
