Rafa loves his Argentinians!! Am I right in thinking that Trezeguet was born in Argentian but moved to France when he was a kid?

Liverpool have approached Juventus for striker David Trezeguet.

Corriere dello Sport says Liverpool have been informed by Juve chiefs that they are only prepared to discuss Trezeguet if a swap involving Steven Gerrard is on the table.
Thank Goodness for that. IMO he is not the answer

Someone like Leroy Lita, young, hungry & can score against top teams in the PL for an average club, imagine what he could do with us.

Sorry, but he is nowhere near good enough to take us to the next level.

I am ready for the abuse but we need a fit Michael Owen back. Knows the league inside out, guarantees goals and IS a red at heart, no matter what has gone on before.

Rafa would probably have signed him a long time ago if he was fit. He isn't the player we need until he has showed that he is fit again and hasn't lost any of his pace.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Doyle would be the better choice from Reading, but I dont think either are good enough

He is available for €35m. Who knows, maybe Rafa will make a move for him but I doubt that.
