I agree, but I haven't seen anybody Bigging up Voronin and asking for one of Bellamy/Crouch/Kuijt to be dropped for him.

It just makes me when people are asking for Momo to be dropped for JM, because JM plays for Argentina or because he's a whiz on FM. Let him prove himself first. Momo has done that and works his arse off for the team

Veron was played completely out of position and still has a champions medal.
Why has Baptista, Tevez and Heinze hardly played? Heinze has been fit for a while now. Ferguson prefers Evra Wenger prefers to play Rosicky or Hleb. If they are really stars, surely they will play more often?

Forlan and Veron were huge and costly failures. It doesnt matter what they won. The team's lost heavily with them financially

Watch out SAR, you'll end up being labelled a racist soon.

        Good points though

The South Americans are Great Footballers, but not many are good in The EPL. It's too easy to take a Flair player out of the game here. The referees dont protect them like they do in Spain and Italy. That is the Biggest Problem IMO.

Forlan was only costly so UTd could get him instead of Boro, who looked likely to sign him beofre Utd jumped in. Veron was still played out of position, but is really the only one who can be called a true waste of the stupid amount of money he cost.
Tevez is at WH and I'm sure something dodgy is going on there and it is still his rist season.
Baptista has made 18 apperances for Arsenal with 7 goals, hardly failing is he, it only his first season as well.
Hienze was clearly very good at Utd before he got injured, I postulate his absence from the squad is either he has return from long term injury and lost ability or he has fell out with fergiscum.

But he has only started 4 times in the League. Against Wigan(2x), Sheff Utd and Newcastle. It doesnt seem like Wenger fancies him that much

He could just be bedding him in, he went to a lot of effort to get him. He has by no means flopped.

What about what he was like in the World Cup? Arguably one of THE best players. FACT

So, IF he adapts to the Premiership, and plays like he did in the World Cup, he WILL displace Momo.

But I agree, these are by no means certainties, so its unfair to say Momo will lose his place for sure

He had no choice really. He was make-shift in a transfer to madrid. I bit like us and Owen

I'd be thrilled if he shows that form here. Luvkilly Rafa knows what Momo can do and it will take a Major effort from JM to displace him. Somehow I dont think Rafa plays FM

                        FM??

Agreed, Momo is excellent in the role he is required to do.

However, based on what we saw at the World Cup, do you think Masher would be a better option than Momo? IF, and it is a big IF, he is the same player here that he was there

It's a Big IF, but I'd be very happy to be wrong on this one. JM will probably be a better option in Europe, but I have my doubts about EPL

Momo and Mascherano are not IMHO going to be fighting for the same position. Xabi and Mascherano are going to be fighting for holding midfielder.

Momo does not have any one really to fight with other then Rafas tactics. That is why IMO we are being liked with Kallström. ( who by the way is not a left winger. )

Plus Momo is a completely different kind of player than El Jefe (I like that name )

BTW He has another nickname. Does anybody know what "Jefecito" means?
