Did anyone hear spoony on 606 last night, spoony actually had to step in and defend Beattie against a tirade of abuse by a fan, "no talent", "just not good enough", surprised that spoony just didn't agree actually!

He would have been well within his rights to looking at those statements. There are always certain players which bluenoses seem to have carte-blanche to slag off. Beattie, Naysmith, Davies (when he was there), Wright, for example. I know these are all really **** players but some of the vitriol that the ****e spout about them is dispicable considering that they are Everton players. Ah well, I suppose they need a scapegoat or 5.
