    Barca can **** off.
    On the Ning Nang Nong
    Where the Cows go Bong!
And the Monkeys all say Boo!
    There's a Nong Nang Ning
    Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo.
    On the Nong Ning Nang
    All the mice go Clang!
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
    So it's Ning Nang Nong!
    Cows go Bong!
    Nong Nang Ning!
    Trees go Ping!
    Nong Ning Nang!
    The mice go clang!
What a noisy place to belong,
Is the Ning Nang Ning Nang Nong!!

Masher is not identical to Xabi mate. They are nothing alike. Masher is like Momo....but with the passing skills of Xabi. Xabi should really be playing a more advanced role...like he does for Spain.

If Barca really were interested i would only sell for £20mill+, or they give us Eto'o or Messi for him. Otherwise they can **** off!

That being said, we have a chance to get Eto'o in here anyway. Imagine him chasing Xabi's throughballs. We would be ****ing fantastic

No he doesn't! This whole problem at the moment stems from Rijkaard lying to him. He is a team player, look at his celebration when they scored the other night. He was pumped.

Of course he was, he knows that the cameras would zoom him in.

When Barca won La Liga last season he wanted to be in the centre of everything. After the final whistle when they had won he took the mic and instead of thanking the supporters he taunted Real Madrid, just to take one example.

Eto'o is a player that want to be seen and he want to be THE star in the team.

He is a great player with a big ego.

There isn't any chance at all that Rafa would sign him IMO.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

the taunting of Real Madrid stems from them not giving him a chance. He was on the books there for a long time, yet the loaned him out every year.

He had something to prove against them

And now back to the subject of this thread

Alonso can buy out his contract in the summer so it's up to him if he stays or not. We can't do anything about it. If he moves to Barca then we already have his replacement in the team anyway so I'm not that worried.

I think that he will stay.

That was because Real didn't want him back and that was because of his ego. Why do you think that Real didn't want him even that he showed that he was good enough? They could have taken him back for more or less nothing at all but they still didn't want him.

They even sold him to Barca even that they knew that he would strenghten them. That says a lot of much they didn't want him.

your not that worried about losing a £20million player for free??

as Howard Moon would say "you Berk!!"

What I mean is that I'm not worried when it comes down to that we would be a much weaker team to what we have now if he leaves.

you know nothing on this subject mate.

My family is Spanish, they go for Madrid, ive watched many many games of theirs. They never gave Eto'o a chance BECAUSE they didnt think he was "Real Madrid" class! Not because he had an ego.

what you just said makes no sense whatsoever.

I guess if we played 5 games in a row without him peoples eyes would open and they would see how much he actually means to our team.
Completely agree mate he is a super player who's abilities are not always appreciated.
His ability to create time and space in MF is exceptional and something that we really miss when he's not in the team. It's only when he's gone that people will realise what he gives us.

                              From todays Football Echo

"We brought Mascherano here because he's not like the other midfielders at the club" said Benitez "Since Didi Hamann left we've not had what I'd call a specific holding midfielder"

"Xabi Alonso, Steven Gerrard, Momo Sissoko and Bolo Zenden can all do this job when we need them, but it's not their speciality because they hve other qualities"

"This is where Mascherano can help us. He is a midfielder who always stays in the same position just in front of the defence and helps move around the ball quickly from side to side"

"I would say he's most similar to Xabi, but not the same. He is only 22 but already has a lot of experience with 22 Argentina caps and you could see his quality in the World Cup. Now he's been training with us for a few weeks and he's ready to play. I must decide when is the right time"
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
