    Zenden to PSV?

PSV Eindhoven manager Ronald Koeman has revealed his interest in Liverpool's Boudewijn Zenden.

Koeman is keen to bring in some experienced faces for next season and he has targeted a possible move for former PSV ace Zenden as well as ex-stars Wilfred Bouma and Mateja Kezman.

Zenden began his career at PSV and spent four successful seasons at the Philips Stadion before moving onto Barcelona.

Dutch international Zenden has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Liverpool side since arriving from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2005.

Koeman is a big fan of Zenden and would like to bring him back to PSV.

"Zenden is a good player with a lot of experience and we want to increase the amount of Dutch players," said Koeman.

"He has a warm feeling for PSV. We are really looking for these type of guys."

Zenden has played down the possibility of returning to PSV insisting he is happy at Liverpool.

"I had a fantastic time at PSV, but I am not sure I have finished my job abroad to return to the Netherlands," Zenden told De Telegraaf.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Well, I never rated Zenden, so if PSV want to get him for a few quid, I wish the lad a good luck!

they'll get him for free, out of contract at the end of the season, and I'd just let him go anyway

I wouldn't say well, he's never been more than average except maybe in the charity shield, so will be happy to see him exit.

              Are you sure?

I'm sure he signed a 3yr contract in 07/2005, which will give him another year after this one?

hmm, i've had a look a round, seems to be conflicting stuff on this, i know one of the papers was saying he was up at the end of the season this week, so not really sure now.

I think with him Being 30+ and in his Final year, he would be able to buy out his remaining contract according to the New FIFA rules. But he was quick to crush those rumours, meaning that he'd prefer to sit out our more lucrative deal than any PSV would offer

i'm sure i read an interview where he said he was playing for another year, i reckon the contract was 2yrs with an option for a third, which could be where the confusion comes from
