The trainer is also a fan of repossessed homes. But, he says, there are bigger profits to be made by finding people at risk of repossession. “I target repossessions before the people are repossessed,” he says. “I take out ads in the local paper: ‘Are you facing repossession? Call your local landlord, [the trainer].”

I wish Robbie would cut this **** out.
He's already wealthy and doesn't need to make money like this.
      Really?

Fowler is going to be named Brisbane Roar manager tomorrow. I can’t wait to see him here coaching my team. We’ve had a horrible season, just suffered a record defeat 6-1 at home to Newcastle so we need some divine intervention quickly. Welcome to Brisbane God!

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Cheers Fredo, never seen that. What a humble fella he was, and I never knew how much he wanted to play for England. Him and Ian Wright were cruely born when there was a glut of players who were deemed more fashionable

They may only have been penalties today, but they were two great pens and personally I'm delighted and chuffed to have witnessed him notch a brace in a league game at Anfield again. Sadly, I think it may be the last time.

It's a touch ironic that, in the season that will prove to be his last, his goals to games ratio must be the best it's been for ages. Today's double takes his tally for the season so far to seven - and after a quick tot-up from today's programme, I make it from just seven starts.

It's a bit premature to be saying goodbye, but I just wanted to say:
