      It should have been Gerrard
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

                Gerrard is V-C.

I don't mind the fact the Stevie G isnt skipper but I am dreading the "Chelsea's England captain" headlines from the press.

Disagree, I think it would have been a bit of a boon for us. Stevie is more than capable of handling it.

                    Ah well.

Cue some sort of comment from Mourinho on how Chelsea players are better and how Gerrard should of gone there and blah blah blah

Figure this is a decent enough topic for my first post.

I reckon McLaren will be a disaster as England coch. Very little will change from the Sven days.

The captain and coach are inextricably linked in any set-up. Beckham has been completely nailed as "Sven's captain" and tainted with that brush. I for one am glad that it will be John Terry and not Stevie G that gets taken down with this soon to be sunk ship.

Just listening to 5Live and there's some Welsh scout on saying he was the one to spot him as a twelve year old - pervy sheep worrier
