In addition to being a very good footy player, Alves is a WORLD CLASS DIVER.

That 10 million pound price tag that seemed the stumbling block in the summer will look like peanuts if we go back in for him, if only we'd have just payed a little over the odds for him back then we'd have saved an awful lot of money.
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

Sevilla wanted £15m for him, not £10m.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Harry Kewell being consistently "class" or "excellent" is a myth. He wasn't consistently that at Leeds (I work with 4 Leeds fans) and he certainly hasn't been at LFC. If you're waiting for him to be class at LFC, you'll be waiting a long, long time. His form has always been patchy.

'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
