    Who would you buy?

Was thinkin of actual players out there who id think would really solve our problems and i think these are some of them.

    Ricardo Quaresma
Portuguese Footballer of the Year : 2005, 2006

Not seen him in full matches live alot but he ripped arsenal in CL, Chelsea and Inter rumoured to be sniffing around, true he never made it at barca but he wasnt given many games then got an injury and wasnt played again.

    A. Yakubu
Has been doing it in the premiership for years not, a goal scorer and thats all he does which is what we need, powerfull presence and a thunderbolt shot he knows where the goal is.

Hunterlaar looks brilliant a natural goal scorer, Torres i feel is over rated for the money. Ribery is good aswell from what i have seen of him, thought Arse got him though...
Id still but Yakubu though because we cant just buy people from other leagues and hope they settle in, we need some Prem experience.

Eto'o would b my first choice for obvious reasons. We have been needng a world class striker for some time now and this chap has it all, quick feet, fast, great eye for gaol, intelligent powerfull. The chap has it all.
In the wide positions, hmmm, not sure exacly.
I like the look of Frank Ribery, I thnk he is a real class operator on the wing. Quarsema as you mentioned is also a very decent player as is Alves any of the three i' be happy with.
Wouldn't say no to Milner on the left either, I think he is seriiously under rated.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Definitely Eto'o and also Ribery. Not too sure about Yakubu, and Torres is a no for me.
            That's the one...

Depends on price of course. I wouldnt mind Huntelaar over Torres.
He looks, as you say, like a natural scorer. Great runs, moves all the time, and knows how to finish.
If we had Etoo we would already have that striker who could create something out of nothing. I think we need one of those. Etoo can do that, Torres too, but I am not sure if Huntelaar has the skill and pace to do so.

Ribery is much tougher than Quaresma and also more dynamic in his play. That is why I would prefer him.
He makes things happen and runs all day. If France havent had him in the WC they woudl have been ****ed as all their other players just stood there and waited for the ball to be passed to their feet, never into space. Sadly, a bit like we do too often.

                Yak
                Maccabi Haifa 36 (24)
                Portsmouth 81 (36)
                Middlesbrough 62 (25)

He averages nearly a goal every 2

My biggest worry about hunterlaar is that he has the physique of a 12 year old. nut fowler wasnt mr universe id say he is the clostest thing i seen to fowler in years, i remember one goal he scored he has his basck to goal and just done some over head volley type of thing i was amazed.

                    Eto'o and Robben.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

                      whats his approach play like?
I feel if there is a reason we wouldn't be interested, I think this could be it, a great poacher he may be, bt Rafa like good allround tallents up front.

He seems to drop deep if the ball is outside the box in the centre he has scored a few outside the box then when it goes in the wings drops off behind the defender. I think rafa needs to buy a goal scorer not just a all round player we have other people for approach play that is out problem at the moment bellamy and kuyt spend too much time on thr wings and not in the box.

I think so too, he just seems like a natural scorer.
Is his physique really that bad?
From what I have seen, he isn't as weak as Crouch?
