Momo probably had his WORST game in a red shirt on Saturday. His passing was way off and his tackling was mistimed. The las obviously ain't match fit. Time to give Mascherano a run in the team while Momo can work on getting his game back.

It has nothing to do with 'match fitness'. Momo was 'asked' to play an entirely differnt sort of football saturday compared to the game against Barcalona. With Alonso dropping deep he manages to get stuck into, what is effectively, a creative CM role and he just can't cope. He never will. The Green Mile is brainless with a football. It will never change. If he had some football in him we would have seen it by now.

Momo can run and brake up play. That's it! 65 matches. Zero goals and zero assists. He just aint it and Mascher will hopefully take over sooner rather than later! With Mascher as holding midfielder Alonso will get a chance to play the kind of football he's best at. 3-5-2/4-5-1 anyone?
