The abuse of Momo Sissoko

Blimey, I thought Momo was raped or racially abused at Barca when I looked at the topic.

Eh Marky, we're entitled to our own opinion. And since we're the ones that will listen ****e from Scumbags throughout the rest of the season (and maybe even more), we have every right to critisise our player(s).

I think Marky's point (which I agree with) is that this site, like KT, has a habit of deciding that players are ****e after one or two poor games.

Classic examples from this season include : Sissoko, Riise, Kuyt (!), Alonso (!), Reina and Garcia.

Knee-jerk reactions, and annoyingly very fickle (which is what opposition fans accuse us of being)

In tough away games he's a valuable asset.

At home - especially when we are chasing the game - he can be a liability. Offensively he's a black hole, he doesn't create or score and if his passing is off as it was on Saturday, then he really serves no purpose being on the field.

Barcelona away was a prefect example of a game where he excels. He was covering loads of ground, closing down continuously, playing the simple pass when he won it. He was an integral part of our game plan.

That being said he's clearly better without the ball than with it, and we won't be winning the league if he's playing in central midfield every week. Lets stop this "Momo is boss" nonsense. Take the rose tinted specs off and see him for what he really is; a workhorse midfield destroyer who offers virtually no attacking threat.

Now I'm sorry but that's not enough to warrant him being in the side every week. He's a situational squad player IMO.

i really don't get you mate. you come on here all emotional about people criticizing Momo like it's the crime of the century, and about how great he is and he doesn't deserve any of this blah blah blah, yet you constantly **** over garcia for the exact same thing, for being inconsistent and for loosing possession. you really have double standards don't you. you can't seem to get why people like garcia and you can't understand why people have a go a sissoko, they are simular players, they can frustrate the **** out of you but then again they alway do offer you something different...
