Unfortunately Momo is still too one-dimensional for Premiership football. He is an amazing athlete, great at breaking play up and winning the ball back but that's usually because he's given it away in the first place...

On Saturday his passing and distribution was awful and for a 'top class' professional footballer his shooting ability (or rather lack of it) is staggering. I was surprised that Mascherano wasn't even on the bench (was he injured?) because he had a good game against Sheffield United and will probably figure tomorrow night. I think Momo will play less and less games for us this season once Mascherano adapts to the pace.
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

I think most of the criticism is because he had a very weak game and we all know he can do a lot better.

I always found passing the easiest part of the game. It's so ****ing simple. Why can't he do it?!
Yes, of course he's open to criticism, like any player but it's pretty sad when before the Utd match Momo was getting his butt liked from every man and his dog, he has ONE bad game and he's getting slaughtered.

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

            Gosh you're perceptive, Marky.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Momo is a bit of a conundrum. It's been said here before that if you combined him and Xabi you would have a worldclass midfielder. If our gameplan is pressing the opposition and disrupting their play then Momo is amassive player for us. His positional sense, energy and tackling are a priceless commodity froma defensive point of view however if we are looking to break down teams, score goals and keep the ball he is a liability!! I think he has plenty of time to develop his game and no better manager to do it under than rafa. I'd like Rafa to pick and choose the games Momo plays in and utilise Masherano more for the rest of the season.

Is he suppossed to produce top class performances in fookin game?
He's 21/22 and still learning his trade, every player can have an off day.

10 days previously he was being praised left, right and centre for his wonderful performance against Barca, just goes to show how
fickle and pig ignorant some fans are, if you can even call them fans.

                Pathetic!!
Fair points, there were some comical passes and one hoof 50 foot vertically, but I agree that the knives were out for someone once we'd lost it.

Momo probably had his WORST game in a red shirt on Saturday. His passing was way off and his tackling was mistimed. The las obviously ain't match fit. Time to give Mascherano a run in the team while Momo can work on getting his game back.

The up and under was an absolute classic. I was expecting Momo to catch it and then swivel hips past everyboby and score a try

Blimey, I thought Momo was raped or racially abused at Barca when I looked at the topic.

Eh Marky, we're entitled to our own opinion. And since we're the ones that will listen ****e from Scumbags throughout the rest of the season (and maybe even more), we have every right to critisise our player(s).

About 90% of my mates are Utd fans so we're in the same boat there.

Maybe you should ask the OP to state clearly his opinion on Garcia, just to see if he has a balanced view on current Liverpool players of course.
