What the **** is 'septic arthritis'?

I guess he caught it by living near Manchester...

septic arthritis is about as unfunny as you can get, when I was in hospital many years ago with a broken leg, a lad had his leg amputated because of it
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

Septic arthritis is the proliferation of bacteria in joints and resultant inflammation. Bacteria are either carried by the bloodstream from an infectious focus elsewhere or are introduced by a skin lesion that penetrates the joint.

"Proliferation" being paramont.............it spreads............once it reaches a certain point in a limb amputation is often needed to prevent it progressing into the main body cavity

Pretty sure i saw pictures of Kewell applying himself in training so can't be that bad i suppose. True i did here "Septic Arthritis" mentioned on SBS but they often have dodgy opinions

he has literally become our Darren Anderton

hope he gets better and all, but clearly we need to move on as a team - I just don't see him lasting anywhere near a full season ever again

Bloom didnt mentioned any "new" injury, he just mentioned that there is no new news on Harry since his initial bout of the dreaded septic arthritis.

So just to repeat that, there has been nothing new said. Harry is still training/recovering from his initial bout.

                    end of thread...lock it!!

i hate Kewell threads they usually end up in me flaming some douchebag for giving Harry a hard time.

Why? Because some people clearly have the misguided belief that he's a lazy player who disappears from tough matches? You better have a word with Carra then...

Im sorry mate I really respect you as a poster, but I really do not believe Harry is faking injury. Why the **** would he play in big games (injured) when Rafa calls on him if he wasnt commited to the cause. For **** sake give the guy a ****ing break
