Good to see the two sets of supporters singing to each other inside the ground after the game aswell. think the bara fans really respected the almost full kop singing Barca over to them after all the players had left, they returned the favour nicely by singing hey Jude if my memory serves me correctlyOriginally posted by Red_hot View PostI was waiting outside the ground after the game with Redblood and his bro and all the Barca fans were clapping us and vice versa. Loads of them went past and said, 'Best fans in the world', and shook our hands. One fella and a woman came over and said 'Best fans in the world, you must beat Chelsea then Madrid then it will be perfect'.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Celtic fans turn out to see their team in hoardes. much like the LFC fans.Originally posted by lfc4ever View PostCeltic fans would have something to say about "Best in Britain"
And Fergie has not shut up about the noise in Anfield since the weekend, obviously trying to gee his own crowd up, and no doubt they will respond tonight by only singing about us - again, hahahahahahaha saddos!!
But.
They dont have the same humour are inventiveness, they are a class act though.
Any PArkhead regulars care to comment?.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:

Yeah i noticed that myself, seemed to last about 3 seconds before comingOriginally posted by Red_hot View PostWhen Ronaldhino missed a shot last night some of the Kop started the 'Who are ya'? chant and were promptly told to shut the **** up!!
to an abrupt end, quite right too."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

The anny road did it 3 times and for a while, i just shook my head in disgust, i was too afraid to make a squeak after 75 mins never mind barrack the opposition. I was kinda dissapointed at our crowd booing Barca though throughout dont really get that, we are supposed to be the most educated fans in Europe, we should appreciate ability.Originally posted by Marky19 View PostYeah i noticed that myself, seemed to last about 3 seconds before coming

You might be on to something thereOriginally posted by Red_hot View PostThink it's meant to put them off really.
I think us singing 'Barca! Barca! Barca!' with them at the end is plenty of respect to show. Plus the people who started the 'who are ya' ****e got shouted down pretty ****ing quick.Like blood on iron

Keeping the theme of how great Liverppol fans are
, has anyone been following Arsenal's match tonight? The ground was half empty well before the end. Can't remember EVER seeing that at Anfield, especially not on a European night. A similar thing happens at Chelsea, and to a lesser degree at Old Toilet.
Makes me proud to be a red. You'll Never Walk Alone, ringing out in the terraces, long after the game's finished.
YNWAThat's the one...

That was class - I met (and drank!) with a lot of Barca fans after the game and they were amazed at that and the atmosphere in general.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostI think us singing 'Barca! Barca! Barca!' with them at the end is plenty of respect to show.
