Anyone else think Gudjohnsen should keep his mouth shut, he said pretty much the same two years ago :whatever:
Sickening. ive had enough of this raw deal we seem to be getting. We should have won the game 5 or 6 and hit the woodwork 3 times. Working as a team they were as much good as the amercian ryder cup squad - they deserved to be beaten.

i've read what he said in the icelandic press, and it seem to have been a poorly translated, he simply that they were better individually, he didn't call us a bad team simply that if they had played like a team they would have beaten us...

au contraire, mon frére....after the match that is.
Pity you couldn't make it - I think you must have been the only Red left in Norway.

            Bitter LOSERS

Messi would want to go on the training pitch and work on using his right foot if he remembers where it is. I dont think he used it all match

Then that would be an incredibly poor direct translation. I know you like the Argies, mate, but Messi is a little ****. Good player, but a little ****, who clearly can't take a beating.

Sour grapes indeed! As has already been pointed out in this thread, we created more chances than them and with a bit of luck we would have 3:0 to the good at anfield by before half time.

The barca lot have started to believe their own hype and that has played a major part of their downfall this season
Think Eidur was speaking with his Chavski hat on there, he's still bitter about what happened last time he was at Anfield in a champions league game. If people like Eidur and Messi want to speak about our great club let them, its only envy ain't it?

Yeah, I read that too and agree with Diego, Eidur had a pop at Barca more than Liverpool, he had some harsh words for his team and he was actually spot on, talking about that his team mates don´t have to be friends off the pitch but they needed to work together on the pitch like Liverpool did. IF Barca had Liverpool´s mentality and organization (and Carragher ) they would have beaten any team IMO.
                        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I don't think it's fair to call the whole team bitter.

                          I actually like Barcelona.

Gudjohnsen I detest, but when he says we are not a great team and don't possess the quality of Barcelona, he really isn't far wrong.

When we get a top class finisher and wide player, then we will be a great side. At the moment, we're a very good team with a great manager and the ability to pull off great performances.

**** off ******s, we ran you ragged in the first half. We should of been 3-0 up before you lot even had a shot on target.

You can stick your Jogo Bonito up your arse.

Am I the only one who fails to see what all the fuss is about with Messi?

Everytime I've seen him play he's looked little better than average.
