Lennon would probably cost £20m+ and Alves £15m.
Alves is better than him but I wouldn't have anything against Alves on the right and Lennon on the left.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Lennon is really just a smaller faster version of Pennant mate. But that pace does make a big difference.
he's not worth the money Spurs would want for him"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Although it is obvious that he's better than anything we currently have in that position, plus he's Premiership adapted, then if he were available then we should be interested.Originally posted by Marky19 View PostThis lad's ****ing dynamite.
But then so would most of the big clubs.
He would be an improvement on a our 1st team and that's where we don't seem to be improving in the transfer market, we improve the squad but rarely the first team.
He has had some injuries this season though...Are you the Judean People's Front?

I'm not saying Lennon is really great or the finished artcile yet but he is much better than Pennant IMHO.Originally posted by Harveybirdman View PostLennon is really just a smaller faster version of Pennant mate. But that pace does make a big difference.

I agree he wouldn't be worth the money though - as I said the domestic market is crazy.
For the record I much rather we signed Alves.

If Carrick was worth £18m how would they value Lennon? To be fair if we paid £15m for him then that would be a bargain in terms of the fact that, good English players cost more, he's premiership proven, Daniel Alves would cost at least £12m.Originally posted by Slim View PostI'm not saying Lennon is really great or the finished artcile yet but he is much better than Pennant IMHO.

I'm not saying £15m is cheap but in terms of what others have paid for good young English talent, that would be the ballpark. Spurs are a selling club if the price is right.
Also, much better than Pennant is an understatement! Without wanting to knock Jermaine. Are you the Judean People's Front?

If Ashley Young, a player who had half a season in the Premiership, isn't an international and most people hadn't really heard of 18 months ago, went for something like £11m IIRC to Villa, then as you say how much would Spurs want for Lennon?Originally posted by Spionkop69 View PostIf Carrick was worth £18m how would they value Lennon?
