Although it is obvious that he's better than anything we currently have in that position, plus he's Premiership adapted, then if he were available then we should be interested.

But then so would most of the big clubs.

He would be an improvement on a our 1st team and that's where we don't seem to be improving in the transfer market, we improve the squad but rarely the first team.

He has had some injuries this season though...

If Carrick was worth £18m how would they value Lennon? To be fair if we paid £15m for him then that would be a bargain in terms of the fact that, good English players cost more, he's premiership proven, Daniel Alves would cost at least £12m.

I'm not saying £15m is cheap but in terms of what others have paid for good young English talent, that would be the ballpark. Spurs are a selling club if the price is right.

If Ashley Young, a player who had half a season in the Premiership, isn't an international and most people hadn't really heard of 18 months ago, went for something like £11m IIRC to Villa, then as you say how much would Spurs want for Lennon?
