Talking about a Liverpool scum final...

if it happened, i would like to think UEFA would have the sense to move it to Wembley or Cardiff. if it was in Greece, it would be mayhem. We have an enormous travelling support, as do you lot. i'd imagine maybe 50 - 60 thousand from each side heading over, most without tickets. there would be fighting everywhere, people, unfortunately, would probably get killed, the greek police wouldnt be able to cope, and English clubs would never kick another ball in Europe again.

Whilst being stuck in traffic after the Sheffield United game we were talking about this. I would be shocked if the respective police forces are nt making plans to coordinate this. Two massive rivals, many flying from the same airport is hard enough to control, over there though if it is nt managed properly it could quickly turn into total chaos.

not just in athens on the day or after, even the week building up to the final...
think about travelling through europe 40,000 of our lot and the same of theirs, every airport,buses trains etc etc
add all that to alcohol heat and tension.
