                  in some ways i know what paul means in a way. he was apparently a supporter of thatcher and also of the id scheme for footy matches if i remember rightly.

                  but all that aside, how can you NOT love him despite all that. if you look at things he said on paper i can see where you're coming from.

                  but no matter how much i disagreed with many of his statements, i just couldn't help but love emlyn.

                  he was like a puppy all through his life, boundless energy and enthusiasm for everything. and nobody could quite tell a shankly story like emlyn.

                  loved the fella, really did. and what a smile.

                  and who celebrates a goal with such childlike bursting out of his own body joy as emlyn hughes. legend.

                                Yeah diouf is such an embarrassment to the club. I am in denial that he ever played for us, makes me cringe when I watch season reviews and that ****** appears in the red shirt.
