Took ages after he signed to get me head around having a united player as one of our own. When he played for west ham I hated him, hated him even more in the united jersey but just as I stared to appreciate him as a liverpool player he left and I hated him again cause he never stopped mouthing off to the press!!

To think that Houllier chose him instead of Anelka still makes me cringe

        'Razor' Ruddock.

A lardy symbol of a period of decline.

What's his autobiography like? I might be getting hold of it soon.

As for Emlyn, I have my own off-field reasons to dislike him (he was a monarchy-loving Tory), but even these reasons can't tarnish him in my eyes. The guy epitomised the Liverpool spirit on the field and is a total legend.

            Spackman for me too.

            Also, McMahon's bizarre xenophobia.

I laughed out loud when I heard Millwall had appointed him as boss. He couldn't inspire.....er......he couldn't inspire.........um..........a cat. He couldn't inspire a cat.

                You get my drift.

They lost 5-1 today and were apparently absolutely woeful. Incidentally Zak Whitbread by all accounts was utterly abysmal and he was hauled off at 4-0.

Nowt wrong with having a soft spot for Souness. He nearly ruined us during his spell in charge, but I prefer to remember him as a player. One of our very very best ever.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I haven't read enough of it yet I have just got to the part where he signs for LIVERPOOL
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was SUCH a great player - I think a lot of people who really speak ill of him are people who don't remember those days.

I don't remember his playing days but have heard the stories, also I knew his son.

I didn't 'hate' him at the time but I hate what I've heard about him since.

Although, I'd be amazed and horrified if he was really THAT unprofessional.
