Benitez: It’s time for us to talk

You can search for the rest of the figures on the net. It's very easy to find.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

dont they say that the directors have voted to invest it? maybe we should strive for a quote in mp3 format as a direct quote every time there is a report. But then again it could be an impersonator?? Oh bugger lets just close the whole internet thing down its all bollocks!!!Originally posted by Chris View PostYet the quotes dont back that up do they?
So where do Juve say £70m will be available?
I am worried now. Say that Liverpool Football Club really don't exist and in fact Everton never left Anfield in 1892. That means we have supported the blue****e (though I suppose now we would have to call the the red****e) for all oyur lives. Well most of us have, maybe the glory boys have only had 2 years of grief. Now I am bloody suicidal and all because of this forum

I don't know how much they will spend. All they have said is that €100m is available if the manager needs it.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

Well any manager is going to want the money, no sane bloke will turn it down especially in their situation so we'll see. I cant for the life of me see them spending anywhere near that and I await their excuses come September, we'll see though, im probably wrong as usual.Originally posted by AFII View PostI don't know how much they will spend. They still have stupid amounts of money though. Not sure about Milans £75m for Ronni and Inters £80m for Messi, as theyre both just trying to out do eachother, but they do both have big money. Milan didnt splash out last season as they knew from the points deduction that the squad would struggle, theyve saved for this summer.Originally posted by Red Chilli View PostAbsolutely. Of course thats just my personal opinion that Ive come up with from reading different stuff, but everyones entitled to their own opinion.
As for Man Utd in reply to Chris, my Man Utd mate is pretty well informed and he said that in the summer they tried to sign Hargreaves (well known) and Torres (less known). Munich told them to come back in the summer as did Atletico who beleaved that a title challenge would keep Torres happy and convince him to stay. He gave them the benefit of the doubt and signed a years extension so the club didnt miss out financially. Man Utd may be back in for Torres in the summer and will certainley be back in for Hargreaves.Forwards.......

This confused, scattered, yet undeniably malicious little rant would appear far less hollow if you didn't have over 7,000 posts under a different username on RAWK.Originally posted by Chris View PostIt wasnt trying to be witty, it was a genuine question. You are the most unhappy, moany person I have ever come across. You claim to be 20 years old, yet internet forums are your life, no wonder you're in trouble mentally.
Get out, get yourself a bird and have some fun. You might even raise a smile although thats probably taking it to far.
Or you could just carry on with your normal life of moaning on internet forums 7 days a week and correcting peoples spelling mistakes. Great fun!

Want to do a check on the IP's? I'm sure one of the mods on RAWK wouldnt mind giving out a few digits of said persons and you can compare to mine which i'll gladly give you if you're that desperate.

IF these woutes are true, then I am alot more optimistic about our future under Rafa.
EXCLUSIVE:
Benitez crisis
RAFA BENITEZ will have talks with Liverpool's new owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks at the end of this month that could determine his future at Anfield.
The Kop boss said: "My responsibility is to say to the owners how to improve the team. I will put my ideas to them. Afterwards they will decide."
Benitez wants an assurance from the American pair that they share his vision of building a Premier League-winning team.
Benitez is adamant that he wants to finish the job — even though Real Madrid are waiting to pounce if there is any hint that he has run out of patience with Liverpool.
The Spanish giants have made their former reserve team coach their top target ahead of Jose Mourinho.
Key
Benitez added: "It is clear the key is the team and after that we can go forward.
"It is not a question of money. It is a question of keep going in the right direction.
"I am really happy here and I want to stay. I want to be here for a long time because I have confidence we can go forward. I think the owners will listen."
Benitez is concerned that he has only met the owners once since they took over.
He will meet them again when they fly over for the home game against Arsenal on March 31.Last edited by bazza76; 18-03-07, 03:41 AM.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I think he is making a distinction between the amount he would get paid personally and the amount available to put into the team (and presumably the freedom to do whatever he wants with it).Originally posted by AFII View Post"It is not a question of money.
