It will be up to Hyypia if he stays or not. He will probably not play in more than 10-15 games if he stays but if he leaves for a midtable club then he would play more or less every week.

Carra and Agger is now our first choice and Arbeloa will probably be ahead of Hyypia next season.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

AF - I love your "matter of fact" statements from your football crystal ball.

I've seen nothing in Sami's game to suggest that he wont continue to get a decent amount of games should he stay with us - against some long ball merchants he's invaluable, and I think he'll be happy playing once every two weeks or so.

        Well obviously.

            "Reckon"

They'd probably play him up front - he'd win everything in the air.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I think this season will be his last unfortunately.
I think Arbeloa has been signed to provide the cover at CB as well as every other position across the back 4.

If Sami still wants to play 30 games a season, he'll have to move.

I hope he's tempted to stay with us for another year or two though as top quality back up to Agger and Carra.

I agree mate - you could do a lot worse then Fulham, but I really hope he stays for at least another season or two after this. Deserves a testimonial at some point too, but it's very unlikely that he'll reach 10 years at LFC

I really hope he stays. He will be an excellent back up and a great role model for younger players. We wouldn't get much money for him anyway so why risk selling him. If agger, carra or finnan gets injured or suspended we would only have arebola as cover for all these three positions so I think we should hold on to Sami until someone new is brought in or any of the young players like hobbs have proven themselves in the premiership. I also think that if we are going to get Sami in as a coach it will be better for him to stay in liverpool and see how the team and players develop rather than letting him go and then offer him to come back once he retired from playing.

Yup, and to be fair, if he does go at the end of the season, then where are we going to get a better 2nd/3rd choice centre half, EPL experienced, solid, economically sound (think of fees/wages), commited player as Sami??

The answer is that we won't. It would be mad to let him go. Obviously if he wants to play 40 games per season for Fulham or whoever then that's up to him. But I really hope he stays.
