Gerrard has been poor (by his usual standards) for most of the season, regardless of where he's been played. He started yesterday on the right wing, but had the freedom to roam the pitch. He did, and achieved what? Nothing.

He moved to the centre after Pennant came on, and did what? Same. Nothing.

You're clutching at straws if you think that simply leaving out Momo, and moving Gerrard to "his favoured position" (copyright Sly Sports/Andy Gray) will cure any ills we may, or may not have on the basis of a DRAW.

Momo was our best player against Barca. ****e? Yeah, ****e enough to be battling for 1st position in La Liga.
