    it was the first time ive watched him and not wanted to kick him up the arse. He was very good. Credit where credits due.

    personally i still dont think hell play much at all next year....

      Good post DJ. Pennant has been getting better and better over the last couple of months and I have to say he did more in 20mins than the rest of the team did in 90.

      He seems to be getting his confidence back, that alone will improve him by 50% (IMHO).

              He was pretty lively when he came on sunday, a real positive out of an otherwise shocking team performance.

              Fair play to the lad, he's actually looked pretty sharp in these past few months.
              Long way to go but...credit where credit's due and all that folks.

                he's had one good 20 minutes. I wouldn't stretch it to a few months. I honestly think looking at our remaining league games with nothing really to play for i'd play pennant and speedy every game to give them every chance of making the grade.

                    i have total respect for him, there isnt a footballer at our club more comfortable at controlling a ball than him

                    this is why i find his frequent exclusion by benitez a mystery, because his valencia was built upon the ideal of pass and move, with players that could play a simple pass all day long until the cows come home

                    at the end of the day if you see a pass going to pennant your happy, you know that he never loses possesion, he might not be doing what ronaldo is doing but it is a guarantee that he will keep it tidy, not lose possesion and give it to a team mate, keeping the move surging forward

                    its the complete opposite of when you see a pass go too sissoko, i **** myself everytime he is in possesion
