right ,the thread about stevie talking to the notw got me thinking.
does anyone on here actually buy it,someone must so be thrutfull.
i dont personally but it seems a big no no for everyone.
im just asking because i was wondering do we actually make any sort of dent in their readership.
we must but i wonder is it an issue that theyd love to resolve to beef up their numbers.

I don't think it'll will dent there readers very much to be honest
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

I've never bought it but... and you asked for honesty... it was mainly because of its politics (while I lived in UK).

I have to admit that my flat mate in halls used to buy the sun and when I was in his room I had a quick read if I was bored.

i hated its politics, and then came hillsborough to underline my hatred for it.

According to some of the rival papers around, the time recently when Rooney did an exclusive, the boycott has had a very recognisable effect on income in the Liverpool area. They even went so far as to print a pretty piss poor apology for their crimes around that time which indicates they must at least consider the extra revenue potential.

I have to say until about 5 years ago I was very badly informed about the issue and although it wasn't my paper of choice I had no problem buying it. However for some reason I ended up researching the issue and since have never bought the paper.

No I do not buy that rag or any other rag. What's the point in Newspapers, there are so many free sources of news now.
Even if I was in the habit of buying newspapers, I wouldn't buy that rag, I support the boycott.
rnm is funny, funny like funny haha.

                          According to Wikipedia,,
                          /http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillsborough_disaster#The_Sun_newspaper
The ***'s circulation in Liverpool dropped from 200,000 to around 12,000 after Hillsborough, a loss of 188,000 sales.
So 188,000 X 365 days X 17 years means they have lost 1,166,540,000 sales since Hillsborough.
Now I have no idea what that rag cost then or today but I think it's safe to say it's cost them a significant amount!
