Yes they are but the point Syd is making is about 2 specific dives by 2 players. It's ridiculous that people think the Liverpool players are whiter than white when we all know they aren't.

I don't think they're whiter than white RH, I just think it's pretty obvious why Gerrard didn't get slaughtered and Ronaldo did.

I imagine Ronaldo got slaughtered on every other clubs fans forums except the SCUMS.
He's not liked in England for a multitude of reasons whereas Gerrard is not arrogant in interviews and doesn't do it every game.

I might know deep down that someone was diving, but i try to argue around it, and back them up. But sometimes, it reaches the point where it's so obvious, you cant defend it - and you sound like a fool trying to.

Ok thats fair enough but all Syd said was it makes him laugh how people slaughtered Ronaldo for doing it but stuck up for Gerrard when he did it. Really, it's hardly anything to get this worked up about.

Who's saying our players are whiter than white? I think we're all big enough to accept that our players do it, and not just the foreign ones. One of the worst offenders was Owen. But even he was not as bad as Ronaldo.

And I'm not so sure Syd's point is specifically about 2 particular dives. And if it is it is kind of a moot point. I'm leaning towards Red Chilli on this one - we're partisan fans, being a football supporter is an extremely subjective experience, defending our players and criticising opponents is part of the job. I'm not going to have a pop at any Red who wants to blast Ronaldo while defending Stevie
