I suspect it has the same feel as NYC, a city I've spent a good deal of time in. It stinks of garbage and the people are rude and up their own arses but it grows on you after awhile. Everyone walks around with a face on and you never meet anyone worthwhile in the street. But there are so many things to do and interesting people to meet.

What I like about large cities are the endless possibilities, the crowds and general attitude of the people don't really get to me, it comes with the territory.

Anyway it's only for 6 months, I'm going to as many shows as possible

Tho probably not the Monkeys I got tickets to see them in Atlanta for $26

That's a pretty much perfect comparrison, I wouldn't say the roads of London are quite as busy as New York, and NYC probably has better sights, but as far as the streets and people go that's bang on.

How long before the mandatory statement from Harry, "You have not seen the best of me"

            London has nearly everything

The best museums, the best theatres, the best art galleries, the best night life, the best restaurants , the best parks, the best shopping, the best architecture, the best History, the best kebab van, the best picture houses, the best brewery, the best airports, the best markets, the best river, the best big wheel, the best stadium I said nearly as it hasn't got the best football team....

            and before you start...

It's also got the best muggers the best pimps etc etc

London's a great place. Every city has it's good ponts but London is just bigger and therefore has more of everything.

I love big cities.. New York. Paris, Rome ISTANBUL !!!

I can't get excited about the prospect of Harry Kewell getting fit. As and when he's playing well then I'll start being happy about it.

London's fine. It's a big city - do people expect everyone to be charming and polite? If that's what you want, don't go there.
                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I can't believe a fit kewell doesnt get you excited

The rudeness doesn't bother me at all, I expect it, in a city that size you can't be nice to everyone you see

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
