So much for Nugent claiming to be a lifelong Evertonian
He played for us that's why. He's always been an Everton fan. If we'd taken him on he'd have turned out like Carra or reverted back to the blues like Macca.

He isn't a lifelong Evertonian. He hates LFC because they released him when he was a kid. And he said that in an interview. All he wants to do now is to play against Liverpool and show them that they were wrong axing him. And the only team that's interested in Nugent is apparently Blue****e, so...

        Macmanaman is supporting Everton?
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

        * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

This is an article from wikipedia:

As a youngster Nugent was released from the Liverpool academy as they described him as 'not good enough' [1]. His junior career got back on track at Bury, joining the club's successful Youth and Centre of Excellence department. After making his debut as a substitute against Port Vale in March 2002 at the age of just 16, Nugent initially struggled to live up to his early potential, but an explosive start to the 2004-05 season saw several larger clubs take an interest.
I don't know about you, but if I was a lifelong Evertonian, I would try to play for them... That means that after I was released from Liverpool, I'd go straight to Goodison (or wherever blue****e train) and try my luck there. I wouldn't even consider going to Bury. Or would I?

Hahaha, what a bitter wee fcuker he is.
Kevin Nolan got released by us as a lad but you don't see him coming out with them silly comments, do you?
