        Well that's your problem.
My being connected with Arsenal is long gone.
Let's move on from all that, k?

            for once AFII is right

owen MIGHT get back to full fitness some time around christmas 2007 but i would expect to see him play at full fitness before even looking at him.

but LFC can't wait for another season just to see if a player who would join any of the big 4 in england at the drop of a hat to play in the CL is anywhere near as good as he was.

i'm not even that bothered about the times he has messed us around. everything he has done has bitten him on the arse. he lied about his contract and joined madrid. we won the CL. he could have held out to rejoin us, bottled it for his england place and broke his foot (but not before coming back to anfield for a bit of ribbing and a humiliating defeat)

then just when that precious england place looked to have salvaged something from the wreckage of 2 seasons he had his worst injury ever and has lost another year of football.

i bet if he could have his time again etc etc but he'll never admit it (except to sven quietly of course!)

we should be looking forward not back basically. no thanks

Owen @ 10 mil, guarentees ye goals in the Prem.
Wouldn't kick David Villa off the pitch mind, the lad is fookin dynamite.

well argued mate. the bit about him not being fully fit until next season might be true but i really don't think anybody needs any more proof that Owen is a world class goalscorer. Every time he comes back from injury he's determined as hell to prove the doubters wrong and he always does.

                          Get ya now, bit slow

Yes what a statement of intent to the rest of the Prem that would be. I think we need a few signings like that to shake up Manure and Chelski and let them know that they have a battle on their hands this year and we are the Top team!!

and so are you carrism, Owen is our past. We should be looking at signing the current 'Owen of 5 years ago' ie someone who will score lots of goals.

Dont get me wrong mate, if GG and TH say "Rafa, we're going to let you have £30m just for a striker, plus other funds for other areas" obviously, we can and should do better.

But for £8m-£10m, Owen would be the best option, pound for pound (assuming he recovers from his injuries).

He's young enough to come back at close to his best if not better
