Ive always thought he had something about him that would make him a success for us.
I dont think hes had a fair crack of the whip, ive always liked him and wanted him to do well.
But if we get 4mill for him that is very good business and hard to turn down.

Hmmm....he definitely played a significant role, but IMO Neil Mellor was more important in that game. Don't suppose it matters though.
Pongolle, Mellor, Biscan and even - against Juve - ALT all played a role in us getting number 5.

FSP does not want to play for LFC again.
I'd take 4 Million in a shot, thank him for what he did for us and wish him buena suerte in Spain.

who could blame houllier though they were 'high profile' youngsters at the time. i would sell FSP for 4 million.

yeah your right, couldnt have blamed GH for signing them, everyone wanted them at the time and they were phenoms at youth level.

I don’t blame GH for signing them at all but I do blame him at least partially for their chronic lack of development.

There seems to be a misconception somewhere, the price is either 3m each, or 3m for the two, I'm sure at the time I remember it being 3m for the two. If you have a look around the transfer websites it's different on each one.
