There seems to be a misconception somewhere, the price is either 3m each, or 3m for the two, I'm sure at the time I remember it being 3m for the two. If you have a look around the transfer websites it's different on each one.

To be honest I'm sure the deals were structured and it probably all depends on what the clauses were. I'm not sure it really matters as what is important is what we could do with the £4m now rather than whether we end up financially better off on the transfers of any particular players.

I think it was 3mil base then upto 6mil with extras for the both of them.

But i could be wrong, I thought Flo would start quickly and fade and ALT would take a while to settle then be the much better player of the two.

What we've gained on the swings (FSP, £4M), we've lost on the roundabouts (Cisse, £?M). Just sell them both for as much as we can get - put it in the pot from the sales of Crouch and Bellamy (and the others who I can't be arsed to mention), add George and Tom's $$$$ for this summer, and let's buy 2-3 top level strikers (and 2 wingers).

It would be a good deal. I'd be a bit sad, as I think the lad will have a good career. He tried and seemed to always care about the club.

Indeed, the lad always tried for us, just got very unlucky with injuries and could never nail down a regualr starting spot.
If he is to move then i wish him all the best, but if he was to stay then I think he could be an interesting option for us, esp if Robbie goes.
