A few points on this thread
Healy is obviously a very decent player. I don't care what anyone says, anyone with his record at International level must be decent. His club record isn't at that level but there can be lots of reasons for this. Most likely is that Lawrie Sanchez has managed to find a system that perfectly suits Healy's strengths whereas his club managers haven't. Lots of good players at international players are relatively poor at club level. Equally, lots of top class performers at club level don't do the business playing for their country. look at John Barnes, fantastic for LFC, poor for England.
England means very little to me compared to LFC. When I watch England i'm primarily hoping our players don't get injured and players from Man U, Arsenal & Chelsea do. If i watch world Cup games when England aren't playing I'm looking for players we could buy perhaps, or hoping players from our rivals get injured. To be honest I'll be more than happy if England don't qualify and spain likewise as our players will get a good rest in the summer.AKA Heighway No9

David Healy scrambled a last-minute winner as Leeds moved off the bottom of the Championship table with victory against promotion-chasing Preston.
The visitors took the lead after just five minutes, Brett Ormerod slotting home after Danny Pugh's through ball.
But Blake levelled after the interval, sliding in to finish from a tight angle after Richard Cresswell's cross.
But after Preston's David Nugent missed a good chance, Healy stole in to head Eddie Lewis' cross past Andy Lornegan.
Can someone remane this forum... healy watch?...
