I can't believe some people on here. He has had 2 serious injuries with us. The first in his first season with us and then the injury just before the WC. He scored some important goals for us last year and Rafa showed no faith in him like all the other France players we have (had). He was easily our best forward last season. He had very few constant starts in games, and was used out wide as well, despite all of that, he still scored his fair share of goals.
People are willing to make excuses and give countless chances to a useless and older LW on our books that is earning big money and has done nothing in his LFC career. That is the bloke that should have been gone in the summer! not Cisse.
I have no doubt Cisse will be gone one way or another in the summer, and he really never got a fair run under Rafa.
