God & Bellers
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Fowler yes. Bellers, I don't know!
But it was refreshing today to see Crouchy in the starting eleven. He posed more threat than Kuyt and Bellers combined.
Anyways, I think Fowler will be leaving us this summer and Voronin will replace him. As for Bellamy, I don't think he's going to leave. Rafa will give him at least another season to prove himself... My opinion of course

If Rafa plans to sell any striker then Bellamy will probably be sold first.
Why? It's easier to replace a player that plays like Bellamy than to replace a player who plays like Crouch.
Crouch gives Rafa more options than Bellamy.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Exactly my thinking, we've got the hard worker in Kuyt, we've got the unpredictable and hard to defend against in Crouch, not seen much of Voronin but from my understanding he's very much a support striker, so now all we need is a fast goal poacher, like Bellamy but who scores more. Wouldn't be surprised to see Fowler stay as emergency cover, but also just as likely he will leave.Originally posted by AFII View PostIf Rafa plans to sell any striker then Bellamy will probably be sold first.

Crouchs form, height and technical ability really.Originally posted by Robster007 View PostDoes what mean they're on their way?
It seems obvious to me Kuyt is staying we have brought in Vornin, Crouch i think will be kept.
As AF has mentioned, its easier to replace the pace Bellamy offers, but only if we spend big & if you believe the rumours of us having a good hefty war chestBill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:

wont happen mate.Originally posted by Kopite_Colin View PostIf one of them is staying I hope it's Crouch, but I still want to see 2 other strikers in as well as Voronin.
well not out and out strikers anyway, I do think we will bring in some other decent attacking players though, possibly as many as three, would that keep you happy

I think Kuyt is a problem. We all know Dirks qualities, he's a hard worker, holds up play well etc etc. But for my money he needs to be more of a threat in front of goal if he's to stay. One more season to prove himself obviously, but he should be seen as playing for his future, rather than a shoe in IMO.
