      This bit just sounds bitter

"Their fans weren’t much better either. Crying ‘hoof’ whenever a Liverpool pass went over shoulder height, conveniently ignoring the number of aimless long balls from the likes of Toure, Gallas and Eboue. Long balls? Heavens no. Arsenal just don’t do that."

Can't you find another way to draw out the contrast?

I thought that was spot on. Particularly as 90% of the long balls we played were knocked down by Crouch to a red shirt.

Although I don't mind Arsenal fans (Marky aside ), they are the epitomy of football-snobbery, most of them of the opinion that they are the only team in the league capable of playing attractive football.

Sorry if you don't agree mate, but it was one of the main things that struck me from being at the game.

And how do I sound bitter? What have I got to be bitter about? Liverpool won 4-1, and so therefore played the better football.
