your achilles goes up the back of your leg mate. As i said in my last post, watch closely when he pulls up...you can see the back of his calf wobble as it ruptures"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Let's spare some positive thoughts for the lad...maybe he can figure large in the new era at LFC!
Hope Gonzo can fill his shoes until we win the CL final this yr.

yes, he was becoming a real plus in our end of season run, has anyone ehad how long he would be out for?.Originally posted by nobbylad View PostApologies if there's another thread on this, but couldn't see one.
Just as the guy is getting into some very good form, he's injured.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Well, there's is another thread about it, but anyhow, it's a pretty bad injury by all accounts. Just been reading Rafa's comments about it and I dont think I've ever heard Rafa being so downbeat. Which is quite worrying.
It is a shame though - I thought SAt against Arse was the best he's played for us yet.White liquid in a bottle = Milk

Followed by two assists from right back and a goal from left back last night.Originally posted by Howard_lfc View PostTwo assists from left back in one game is quite an achievement (with another assist from Arbeloa at right back btw).
So says we need to stengthen in wide areas? In the life, of a man, there are times and there are seasons.

Liverpool returned in the early hours, with Fabio Aurelio on crutches having been diagnosed as suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon. The Brazilian won’t play again this season.
CLICKY - The EchoJust believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
