Thanjk you.

I cant think of the last BIG player barca sold? or Valencia?
Maradona, Ronaldo, Figo to list just three. Barca are not too bothered historically about selling one superstar, because they have five behind waiting to take his place.
Valencia sold Carew when he was rated as one of the top three strikers in Europe. If the moneys right, they'll sell. Personally don't want Villa though. I would prefer Eto'o, but I've been wrong before!
The peanut. Mans only natural predator.
Tallaght - the only place where a woman can be a MILF and jailbait at the same time.
Who exactly was doing the rating? He wasn't even the third best striker at Valencia.
Don't know?
But tis the way these things go sometimes. An awful lot of players are 'one season wonders' and then sink back into the mediocrity where they belong. I'm not saying that I thought that he was that good, simply that he was rated as that after one good season.

I agree that every player is a risk and it's an even bigger risk if you want to sign a short player. Then that player must be very clever, quick and have a good first touch to make it to the top.
Just look at Lennon for example, or SWP.
SWP hasn't made it to the top because he isn't clever or skillful enough. Robben ticks all the three boxes but he is injury prone.
Lennon can make it to the top because he is more clever and skillful than SWP.
Owen would be my first choice if I knew that he will be fit enough but I don't so we would need to sign another striker together with him.
Owen together with another class striker, yes. Only Owen, no.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
Maradonna though, he nearly caused a riot in Barca, funniest fight i have seen ever! Point taken though, Figo for me though, that was silly silly money.
Agree.Villa looked like he`d be eaten alive in the PL.
Cant go by one game though.
Drogba looked utter ****e - now he's on 30 goals for the season.
I suppose that's why it's such a tricky task to make good signings - you can use all logic, and it can still bite you on the backside - see Shevchenko for evidence.

See your point but Villa looked disinterested and lazy.It was the CL Quarter final FFS.
Surely that can only mean he's already thinking about pulling on the famous red shirt
If your gonna play an English team and you want to join another English team then surely you`d put in your best ever Performance during your interview(We must have had dissappointed scouts there)

Not when you already know they're gagging to sign you.
