    Cisse

Marseille striker Djibril Cisse admits he will need to find his scoring form soon, for both club and country.

Cisse, who was booed in midweek by fans of the French national side, has endured a difficult time in recent years after suffering from two broken legs, but believes it is time he refound some of his scoring prowess.

"I have experienced booing at Marseille, at Auxerre too," admitted Cisse.

"In two years, I have been injured for almost 12 months, so being slightly booed won't affect me.

"I miss one chance, and everything will start again.

"I need a goal. As a striker, I can't be satisfied with my present efficiency.

"But I will improve and I won't give up."

With only three goals for his club this season, Cisse went on to admit that he will not be in a position to complain, should he be dropped to the bench.

"At Marseille, there is competition, and I have to accept it," he continued.

"If the coach put me on the bench, I would accept it."

id gladly take him back here. He is a threat, and can score goals like he proved last season.

That picture makes him look like Cuba Gooding Jnr.

I very much doubt he'll play for us again, if Marseille dont take him, I think its more than likely he'll be shipped out to another French team, of which i reckon there'd be takers. He knows he's unlikely to get many games at Anfield, so reckon he'll do his best to get his move somewhere, permanent if poss but another loan would be bad but possibly the only option.

I remember the days when we spoke of the "holy trinity" on Kraptalk. We all wanted GED to sign Duff, Kewell & Cisse. He managed 2 of them but sadly their careers at Anfield was hampered with injuries. I like Cisse but I cant see a way back for him with Rafa. Same for Kewell whom I think will be sold in the summer.
Good luck Djibs, you never rocked the boat like some other striker we have now did.

Kinell, when will people wake up?

          Nowhere near Liverpool standard.

Well, we can use him in the early stages of the FA/League cups and in CL qualifying games if nobody wants him...

What has that got to do with Cisse?

And no I don't think he is.

It's quite simple really, out of the current squad if we can find somebody better we will. Bellamy is better than Cisse, so Cisse went. Now the task is to improve on Bellamy.

Bringing Cisse back would be a massive backward step. I just can't believe that some people still think he's good enough. Did they not watch him first time round? He was utterly hopeless.

It tells you everything that Rafa let him leave on loan just to get rid. He will not be back.

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Oh how I long for the days of Djibs, hands on hips having a moan at someone for having the audacity to not pass the ball within a millimetre of his boot laces.

just wanted to know if you think Bellamy was a better signing than Cisse that is all.
I would not call Cisse "utterly hopeless" as you said. I remember clearly you castrated him, slagged him off even before he signed for us saying he was not good enough YET now you have a go at us for saying Voronin is crap..double standards there or what mate
Anyways, I do agree that Cisse is not coming back & we do need to improve on Bellamy.

I´m watching Leverkusen in the UEFA against Osasuna, not sure what to make of Voronin as he clearly is playing in a crap team. On the few occasions he has received the ball he looked OK, rarely misplaces a pass but I´m not sure if he is playing on the left or upfront, he is not spending much time in the box that´s for sure.
