    Simao better than Alves !

Having watched both closely for the past year or so I have come to the conclusion that Simao is the better player for us if Rafa still want him.
Simao is a two footed natural winger who defends as good as assisting and scoring.
On the other hand, Alves is predominantly one footed. He only uses the left foot to stand on. Big example today v Spurs. He did not once touch the ball with his left foot. He reminds me a lot of Riise.
Furthermore, Simao would cost us less than Alves. Maybe we can get Simao for 10-12£ m instead of 20-25£ mill for Alves.
Just my opionion like but what do you think ?

think that ship has sailed to be honest, we'd get many more yrs out of Alves, Simao is almost 28, which means he doesn't have many years left at the top of his game

      Simao scored again tonight aswell.

I'd rather have Simao but I doubt that we'll sign either of them unless Rafa is really desperate to sign one of them.

From what I saw, he was pretty average going forward, but was pretty solid defensively.
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

Simao just signed a long term contract extension with Benfica.

According to football transfers, Simao does have a contract 'till June/2010 but that still does not mean anything in this day & age of football.
Alves has a contract till June/2012.

That was the most inauspicious game I've seen Alves play. Disappointing.

I've never been taken by Simao and I hope we don't sign him.

He has a €20,000,000 buyout clause inserted into his contract but I can't see us paying that. €15,000,000 maybe but not 20. We refused to pay €18,000,000 for him before so I can't see us going higher now unless Rafa is desperate to sign him but I don't think he is.

                    Alves was **** tonight.

But anyone who has seen him play regularly can vouch for the fact that he is world class. Light years ahead of that skin-tight shirted little runt Simao.

Both platers can't be compared IMHO as they are both totally different. Simao is an attacker where as Alves is more of a wing back. Both players have different qualities but I doubt we'll sign either. I'd rather have Quaresma anyway.

I'd have to agree with this, Simao probably only has a few years of top flight football to offer left in him where as Alves has about 10 years left in him, he's only going to get better and Simao is probably at his peak.
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

If Simao was gonna leave he wouldn't have signed a new deal.

NOT A ****ING CHANCE HE IS COMING.

                            Simao better than Alves

Alves is much better. I guess that you didn't watched Benfica vs Porto last week. Simao was rubbish in that game. No hard work, not one single dangerous attack, rubbish.

Alves isn't 100% fit but he played anyway because he is so important for Sevilla.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
