The stadium will be 60,000 capacity, with the possibility of expanding
Is there a link to the official site where this is announced.

It wouldn't exactly be the best of starts if G & T were to tell Rafa lies about his transfer kitty would it? For that reason I think we'll be fine.

Everyone needs to chill and stop over analysing every comment that comes out of Rafa's mouth.
I will wait and see. I have no expectations of us buying e'too et al.

        Looneybins.

As the other guy said i actually don't really see a great deal of change ahead (we have better TV money, so in theory more money anyway). We are still a business, perhaps if another Alves target comes up in the summer we'll get him rather than Pennant, but really that's all this amounts to IMO.

They want to make a good start and that means a big transfer kitty for Rafa.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If they tell us they are gonna do one thing and then do something else that is not as good they will get the fans against them.

I dont think anyone is really sold after just two or so months.

So in you opinion that nothing has really changed?

It has been stated on numerous occasoins that the new stadium will be redesigned, and built within the existing set of planning conditions. That means reatining the original capacity of 60,000 odd.

There is nothing to stop a further application to increase the capacity down the line.
                Oh I don't know.

A review of the 60,000 capacity of the new stadium is being carried out by the club and consultations with fans are already underway.

That is from the most recent article on the stadium from the official site.

                    What is your source?

I really like quoting Dr. Phil

                        So here goes.

The best predictor for future behavior is past behavior.

The thing is in our case we cant IMO look at LFC past behavior but we have to look at Tom and Georges past behavior.

And they spend. ( at least more then LFC used to )

Quote from George Gillet on the official website:

"There is a plan in place for which approval has already been granted and we have to operate to the extent we can within that process and approval. Decisions about modifications will be taken very carefully. What we want to do is build a stadium that will comply with the seating capacity approval but be expandable. As the fans demand more seats we want to be able to give them to them."

The "me too" post, was referring to Bob's post.
                            Oh I don't know.

still not been official announced, it was originally 61k with no view to expansion, now G and T have designers trying to rework the designs to allow future expansion, no ones said it's been done for definite yet. Hence Gillette comparing our stadium more with the emirates than OT.

I've answered the question in the previous post.
